Greek White Tahini 450gr. White Tahini is a natural product and is produced from selected sesame seeds, passing through the process of drying and milling.

The workshop was opened in 1924 by Kostas Mezardasoglou, from Asia Minor, who after the Catastrophe settled in Drapetsona. Mezardasoglou worked in halva factories in Asia Minor, where he learned the art of traditional handmade halva. A few meters away from where production takes place today, in a wooden shack of those that dominated the area at the time, Kostas started producing halva, using rudimentary means. In 1984, George collaborated with Eumorfios Kosmidis. When he retired due to retirement, in 1986, his place was taken by Nikolaos Gavrilis, also of Asia Minor origin and with shipbuilding studies, who “wrecked” as his passion for halva “emerged”. Since 2002 when Eumorfios Kosmidis retired, Nikolaos Gavrilis has been maintaining the “unique” welding shop that is left of the many that once existed in Piraeus with his partners.

In addition to conventional food products, we travel all around Greece to secure cooperation with suppliers of products: Bio/Organic, PDO (Protected Designation Origin), PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), TSG (Traditional Specialities Guaranteed).
