Health benefits of Cretan thyme honey
Thyme honey is perfect for relieving the worst effects of the sore throat associated with colds and flu.
Thyme honey has excellent anti-bacterial and antifungal properties, and it is still used, in Greece, as a poultice for wounds, to prevent infection. Honey is commonly used covering for burns and scalds.
Thyme honey is the most effective honey for inhibiting the growth of bacteria (honey has been shown to be effective against salmonella, E. coli and Vibrio cholera).

A born out of a love for quality food, authentic flavours and our desire to highlight and make known the hidden treasures of Greek nature.
The initiative for this venture was taken by our family, in our farms located in the Aegina Island, we have been producing pistachios since 1956, continuing a three-generations-long farming tradition, combined with modern sustainable development practices.
The rest of our products have been carefully selected from small farming businesses, who have limited quantities of crops each year, but always of the highest quality.
We put our trust with the local traditional producers, building long-lasting and strong partnerships at all stages, from sowing, harvesting to distribution. We hope that the existing “family” of FiveTwenty affiliate producers will grow year by year.
Our vision is to make the authentic traditional Greek flavors known around the world.
